Foel Cedig is a Marilyn on the Gwynedd/ Powys border in north Wales. In 2018 it replaced Cyrniau Nod as the Marilyn for this area. It is located a very short distance from Cyrniau Nod. This has led to peak baggers having to recomplete.

Llangynog is a village and community at the confluence of the Afon Eirth and the Afon Tanat at the foot of the Berwyn range in north Powys, Wales. It lies at the foot of the Milltir Cerrig mountain pass on the B4391 road, which runs between Llan Ffestiniog and Llanfyllin. Llangynog is situated 4½ miles east of Garreg Wen.

It lies at the confluence of Nant Tridwr with the Vyrnwy river about 1 mile from the latter's exit from the lake. Abertridwr is situated 5 miles southeast of Garreg Wen.
