Symi, also transliterated as Syme or Simi, is a Greek island and municipality. It is mountainous and has the harbour town of Symi and its adjacent upper town Ano Symi, as well as several smaller population centres, beaches and areas of significance in history and mythology.

Leros is a Greek island and municipality in the Dodecanese in the southern Aegean Sea. It lies 317 km from Athens' port of Piraeus, from which it can be reached by an 11-hour ferry ride.

Kasos, also Casos, is a Greek island municipality in the Dodecanese. It is the southernmost island in the Aegean Sea, and is part of the regional unit Karpathos-Kasos. The capital of the island is Fri. As of 2021, its population was 1,223.

Astypalaia is an island in the Dodecanese. It is shaped like a butterfly, with the two wings joined by a narrow strip of land. The island has high crags, fertile valleys, and dozens of small bays.
