Lod railway station is an Israel Railways station in Lod, Israel, served by most railway lines of Israel Railways. The station is located in the HaRakevet district of south Lod.

Ayalon Prison, formerly known as Ramla Prison, is a maximum-security prison located in Ramla, Israel. It is managed by the Israel Prison Service. The prison was opened in 1950, and was built in the style of the Tegart forts from the British Mandate era. Ayalon Prison is situated 1½ km south of Lod.

Lod, also known as Lydda and Lidd, is a city 15 km southeast of Tel Aviv and 40 km northwest of Jerusalem in the Central District of Israel. It is situated between the lower Shephelah on the east and the coastal plain on the west.

Dahmash is an Arab village in Israel situated 15 kilometers from Tel Aviv-Yafo in an agricultural area between Lod, Ramla and Nir Tzvi. It has been inhabited since 1951, and has a population of 600 people, all Arab citizens of Israel, living in approximately 70 homes.
