Lhotse is the fourth-highest mountain on Earth, after Mount Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga. At an elevation of 8,516 metres above sea level, the main summit is on the border between the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and the Khumbu region of Nepal. Lhotse is situated 4 km southeast of Camp 2S.
Nuptse

Nuptse or Nubtse is a mountain in the Khumbu region of the Mahalangur Himal, in the Nepalese Himalayas. It lies 2 km WSW of Mount Everest. The main peak, Nuptse I at an elevation of 7,861 m, was first climbed on May 16, 1961, by Dennis Davis and Sherpa Tashi.
Everest South Peak

The South Summit is a subsidiary peak of Mount Everest in the Himalayas between the South Col and the main summit above sea level. Although the South Summit's elevation of 8,749 metres is higher than the second-highest mountain on Earth, it is not considered a separate mountain as its topographic prominence is only 11 meters. Everest South Peak is situated 2½ km east of Camp 2S.

The Hillary Step was a 40-foot vertical rock face that sat 8,790 metres above sea level on the southeast ridge of Mount Everest. Located halfway between the "South Summit" and the true summit, the Hillary Step was the most technically difficult part of the typical Nepal-side Everest climb and the last real challenge before reaching the top of the mountain. Hillary Step is situated 2½ km east of Camp 2S.
Khumbu Icefall

The Khumbu Icefall is located at the head of the Khumbu Glacier and the foot of the Western Cwm. It lies at an elevation of 5,486 metres on the Nepali slopes of Mount Everest, not far above Base Camp and southwest of the summit. Khumbu Icefall is situated 3½ km northwest of Camp 2S.
Gorakshep

Gorak Shep, also spelled Gorakshep, is a settlement nestled on the periphery of a frozen lakebed blanketed with sand in Nepal, sharing its name with the locale. Gorakshep is situated 7 km west of Camp 2S.
