Edzell is a village in Angus, Scotland. It is five miles north of Brechin, by the River North Esk. Edzell is a Georgian-era planned town, with a broad main street and a grid system of side streets. Edzell is situated 2½ miles southeast of Wardhead.

Edzell Woods is a village in the Kincardine and Mearns area of Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is owned by Calum Tosh. It is 4 miles from Edzell by road, but only one mile directly east, over the River North Esk, which forms the boundary between Aberdeenshire and Angus. Edzell Woods is situated 3½ miles east of Wardhead.

Menmuir

Menmuir is a parish in the county of Angus in Scotland. Kirkton of Menmuir consists of only three houses and for this reason is referred to locally as "twa hooses and another yin," but around 250 people live in the area and the community hall is well used. Menmuir is situated 5 miles southwest of Wardhead.
