was a Protestant church in the Ponarth quarter of Königsberg, . The brick Neo-Gothic church of Ponarth was built in May 1896 and dedicated on 23 July 1897; its construction was championed by the mayor, Robert Hoffmann, and the director of the brewery, Eduard Schifferdecker.

St. Joseph's Church was a Roman Catholic church in the Ponarth quarter of Königsberg, dedicated to Saint Joseph. By 1930, the working-class quarter Ponarth south of center city Königsberg included the Protestant but lacked a Catholic parish.

The Brandenburg Gate is one of seven surviving city gates in , the former German city of Königsberg. The gate is located on Bagration Street and is the only gate of Kaliningrad still in use for the intended purpose.
