Inverquharity Castle is a 15th-century tower house in Angus, Scotland. It lies around 4.5 kilometres north-east of Kirriemuir near the River South Esk. Inverquharity Castle is situated 2,300 feet southwest of Turfachie.

Inverquharity is a Roman fortlet in Scotland, close to the Highland Line about 5 miles north of Kirriemuir, Angus. Although very little archaeological work has taken place, it is assumed that Inverquharity forms part of the Roman occupation during the Flavian period; this would mean it was constructed sometime between 70 and 86 CE. Inverquharity is situated 3,800 feet west of Turfachie.

Cortachy Castle is a castellated mansion House at Cortachy, Angus, Scotland, some four miles north of Kirriemuir. The present building dates from the 15th century, preceded by an earlier structure that was owned by the Earls of Strathearn. Cortachy Castle is situated 1¼ miles northwest of Turfachie.
