Finavon Castle

Finavon Castle is a ruined 17th-century castle lying on the River South Esk, about a quarter of a mile south of Milton of Finavon and five miles north-east of Forfar in Angus, Scotland.

Melgund Castle, lying around two kilometres due east of Aberlemno in Angus, Scotland, is a 16th-century L-plan castle which has been partially restored as a private residence. It was designated as a scheduled monument in 1971. Melgund Castle is situated 2 miles east of Woodrae.

Aberlemno is a parish and small village in the Scottish council area of Angus. It is noted for three large carved Pictish stones dating from the 7th and 8th centuries AD; the stones can be viewed at any time in spring-autumn, but are covered by wooden boxes in the winter to prevent frost damage.

Milton of Finavon House, historically known as the Mains of Finhaven and House of Finhaven, is a Category C listed building in Angus, Scotland. The structure is a composite of several eras, beginning with a surviving 16th-century butt n ben to the east and the remains of an earlier Tower Fortalice to the north west. Milton of Finavon is situated 1½ miles west of Woodrae.
