Moncreiffe Island, also known as Friarton Island, is an island in Perth, Scotland. It divides the River Tay into two channels as it flows through Perth, and is crossed by the single-track Tay Viaduct, carrying the Scottish Central Railway.

Barnhill Tollhouse

Barnhill Tollhouse, located just to the southeast of Perth, Scotland, was built in the early 19th century. Now a Category A listed building, it stands on Dundee Road, where it formerly collected tolls from vehicles entering the Perth city limits. Barnhill Tollhouse is situated 2,000 feet west of Perth Sailing Club.

The village grew up on the south bank of an important crossing of the River Earn, whose sandstone bridge existed from at least the early 14th century, when it is known to have been repaired by order of King Robert I of Scotland. Bridge of Earn is situated 2 miles south of Perth Sailing Club.
