Loch Errochty is a man made freshwater loch situated within the Perth and Kinross council area at the edge of the Scottish Highlands near the Highland Boundary Fault where the topography changes to lowland. Loch Errochty is situated 2½ miles west of Maud Loch.

Struan is a small village in Perthshire in Scotland. The name derives from sruthan, the Gaelic for 'Little Stream'. It is 8 km west of Blair Atholl. It is near the confluence of the River Garry and the Errochty Water, and just south of Calvine. Struan is situated 5 miles east of Maud Loch.
