The remains of Burleigh Castle are located just outside the village of Milnathort, 1.5 miles north of Kinross, in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The castle dates from the 15th and 16th centuries, and now sits beside the A911 road, opposite a 19th-century steading, recently adapted into housing. Burleigh Castle is situated 2½ miles southwest of Wester Gospetry.

Its cone-shaped summit, which is the remains of a volcanic plug, rises above an escarpment of Carboniferous sandstone and limestone layers, capped with a quartz-microgabbro sill. West Lomond is situated 2 miles east of Wester Gospetry.

The Bunnet Stane is a rock formation near the hamlet of Gateside in Fife, at the foot of West Lomond. It sits upon one of the calciferous sandstone outcrops of the Old Red Sandstone suie that exist around the base of the Lomond Hills. Bonnet Stone is situated 2 miles east of Wester Gospetry.
