Farnell Castle is an oblong tower house dating from the late 16th century four miles south of Brechin, Angus, Scotland.

Melgund Castle, lying around two kilometres due east of Aberlemno in Angus, Scotland, is a 16th-century L-plan castle which has been partially restored as a private residence. It was designated as a scheduled monument in 1971.

Brechin Castle is a castle in Brechin, Angus, Scotland. The castle was constructed in stone during the 13th century. Most of the current building dates to the early 18th century, when extensive reconstruction was carried out by architect Alexander Edward for James Maule, 4th Earl of Panmure, between approximately 1696 and 1709.

Friockheim is a town in Angus, Scotland dating from 1814. It lies between the towns of Arbroath, Brechin, Forfar and Montrose. Most of the village is in the parish of Kirkden but the eastern end lies in the parish of Kinnell.
