Frongoch slate quarry was a slate quarry and mine in Mid Wales, approximately halfway between Aberdyfi and Pennal. The quarry was named after a nearby farm of the same name. 'Fron goch' is Welsh for 'Red breast'. Frongoch quarry is situated 1 mile northwest of Ynys-Feurig Hide.
