Palmachim Air Force Base
Military installation
Palmachim Airbase is an Israeli Air Force base and spaceport, which the IAF and the Israel Space Agency operate jointly. It is located west of the city of Yavne on the Mediterranean coast, 12 km south of the Gush Dan metropolitan area with Tel Aviv, named after the Kibbutz Palmachim a few hundred meters to the north. Palmachim Air Force Base is situated 3½ km northeast of Tel Haraz.
Eshkol Power Station

The Eshkol Power Station is a power station supplying electrical power to the Shephelah region in Israel. It is located in north industrial zone of Ashdod near the mouth of the Lakhish River, close to the port of Ashdod and the Ashdod Oil Refineries which provided the plant with fuel oil prior to its conversion to use natural gas. Eshkol Power Station is situated 4 km southwest of Tel Haraz.

It operates under the auspices of the Israel Atomic Energy Commission and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
